Encouragement Found Within Disney Movies

I know what you may be thinking. Seriously, you are in high school. Aren’t you a little too old to be completely obsessed with Mickey Mouse? Not only am I completely in love with Mickey Mouse, but also the rest of the Disney characters. Personally, these characters serve as distinct inspiration. For example, from The Lion King, “The past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it.” As Zeus from Hercules said it best, “A true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart.” From the wisdom of Walt Disney, “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” One thing I have learned from growing up with all the Disney classics is that anyone can be a prince or a princess, no matter how large or small. One of my favorite Disney princesses, Cinderella, once said, “If you keep on believing the dreams that you wish, they will come true.” Another one of my favorite Disney movies is definitely Mulan. “A single grain of rice can tip the scale. One man may be the difference between victory and defeat.” As you can see, there are many different ways Disney includes inspiration and encouragement throughout the classic motion pictures.
